Leading up to the Shepard Wedding!

Casey and Jon got married last Saturday, the 20th. We headed up to Madison Thursday afternoon, and had so much fun celebrating with them all weekend. We were so happy to be in the mix, and we did all sorts of fun things to get Casey and Jon ready for their big day!
The girls went to have a manicure/pedicure and to lunch on Friday. The salon was quiet, and we had fun visiting, talking, and laughing. The girls all had fun playing and giggling!
Sweet baby did so good -- sat still she fell asleep!
We had lunch at Taziki's where Casey gave us a few goodies!! We loved it all!
Casey and Jon had a BBQ Friday night, where family and friends gathered to celebrate and visit. The good was delicious, and everyone had such a good time. It was a great way to celebrate.

First Days of School

Sweet Ivey was ready to head back to Sissy's...such a love bug.
Meet the Teacher for Clare and Lila
Clare and Mrs. Ryals -- Kindergarten
Lila and Mrs. Voss -- 2nd Grade
I can hardly believe that my Clare Anne is in Kindergarten. I have prayed and prayed about this year for her, and I'm proud to say ... so far so good! She's doing so well!!
1st Day of 2nd Grade ... such my big girl.
 Sweet Sisters headed to Southview
 Classes of 2029 and 2017!!
Dropping off at school...
Let me tell you ... I held it together much better than I did when I dropped off Lila, but I had a hard time walking away from her that morning. So thankful for the good year that all three girls are having!

Our Last Days of Summer

We tried to squeeze in some last minute moments for this summer. It was such a quick summer, and I can't believe as I write this that I've been back to school almost 3 weeks!! One of our last days, we met our sweet friends at Krispy Kreme and had some pool time.
These girls...I just love them so. They spent about a week sleeping on the floor of our bedroom on pallets. Not only that, they've basically be bunking together for the last month...I don't think they've slept many nights apart. I'm so thankful that they seem to love and care for each other...not to say that they don't fuss and fight and nag, but they're pretty great.
I was so proud to get Clare's portraits done ... the girl has already lost two teeth!! She lost her first tooth when we were visiting in Madison, and she had a loose one in the portraits. This stinker made these portraits hard! She traded silly faces for pretty smiles with Mr. Jernigan. It worked and her portraits were wonderful!
I took the big girls to Montgomery to see Beauty and the Beast. I enjoyed having some time with them, and they play was wonderful. It was a great way to end our summer.
