Daddy/Daughter Dance

The girls went to the Daddy/Daughter Dance with Josh on Saturday night. Lila is at that age where she enjoys hanging out with her buddies, so Josh has a hard time keeping up with her. Clare loves the thought of going and getting dressed up till she gets there and the music is too loud and there's too many people. She's ready to come home. Nonetheless, it's such a sweet night, and I love seeing the girls get so excited to go out with their daddy. It's a sweet tradition, and one that I always hope they remember having this night with him.

Ivey is 10 months old!

This sweet girl is 10 months old! I say it every month, but I can hardly believe how quickly the time has passed. She's such a happy baby girl. She smiles and giggles and laughs a lot. She's my little chunky baby for sure. She loves her bottle and will holler if you get too far past eating time. She still sleeps great -- usually from 7 to 7. We put about 3 or 4 pacifiers in her crib each night, so she can grab them when she needs to. She does have a bad habit of throwing them out of her crib -- especially out of the back. The smile in the last picture -- that's her new smile. She throws her head back and grins as wide as her face. She's cutting her top four teeth all at the same and it has made for some grumpy and moody evenings. She loves her mama and daddy, but she'll go to pretty much anyone for a minute, give a quick love, and then look back for one of us. She's full-fledged crawling, not inching along, and she's officially into everything. She adores her sisters, especially Lila. She's a joy .. she fills my heart with even more love than I thought it could hold. She's definitely my angel girl.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

 Joshua turned another year older today ;-) We are certainly blessed to have such a fun, patient, hard-working daddy! We really enjoy this day with him each year. Here's hoping that #37 is one of the best years yet!!

WOOHOO!!!!

Aunt Casey is getting married! The girls and I are so excited to be a part of her big day! We are very excited for her and Jon and look forward to celebrating them over the next several months. We love you!!

Josh's Big Decision

Josh made the decision to be baptized on January 26. Our minister, Bruce Green, baptized him that afternoon. I was thankful that the girls and me were there to watch this happen. We are very proud of Josh!!
