Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day from my two sweeties!! 

This Valentine's Day was also the night that the girls got to go to the Daddy Daughter Dance with Josh. This was Clare's first time to go, and she was beyond excited for it. They both wanted to wear the same dress and didn't seem to mind too much about matching. They looked so pretty and big. They seemed to have a good time -- Josh said Lila spent most of the night with her little friends, but Clare stuck with him. Apparently, she tuckered out about an hour into and ended up falling asleep on his shoulder for about 25 minutes!! I couldn't believe it! I love this little tradition for them, and I hope the girls always remember getting to do this with their daddy.

And now they share ...

We are preparing for Ivey's arrival around here. Step one was moving Lila and Clare into a room together. We decided to move them into Clare's room -- we are using the white furniture that they both used as babies, and we bought bunk beds for them. They chose a light color of purple for their walls, and Grammy and Papa bought them matching quilts for their beds for Christmas. We've continued to add to and organize clothes and closets. As of yesterday, Lila has been completely moved. They seem to really enjoy being together ... not too much fussing yet!!

I must be in nesting mode ... My mom came in this weekend, and she helped organize the clothes for Lila, both bedroom closets, and helped clean. Today, I reorganized the hall closet and the girls' bathroom. Now we've just got to get to work on Ivey's room. 9 more weeks to go!!

Happy Birthday, Josh!!

Happy #36 to Josh!! He celebrated with early morning presents, an entire day of golf, and dinner and cake afterwards. We love you to the moon and think you're the bee's knees ... You're definitely the best in our book. Hope this birthday was the most fantastic yet!
