Clare's Graduation Videos

Clare's Graduation from Sissy's

Clare Anne graduated from Sissy's School today. So bittersweet. We are so thankful for Sissy and the friends that we have there. Clare has definitely had her share of good and bad moments, but she has shined. We are so proud of our little girl and know that she's ready for kindergarten. We love her so much!

Mother's Day a bit late!

I can't believe I missed Mother's Day!! The girls made me presents at school -- I loved my pictures that Clare and Ivey painted, and Lila made me a sweet keychain that's on my keys. My big present was a bike!! I was so excited to have a bike to ride around the neighborhood. I loved it!
I am beyond blessed to be the mama of these three girls. They give me such joy and fill our house such laughter and love. I love them each so very much...being their mama is the best.
We enjoyed a lazy afternoon outside .. I love these girls and their sweet personalities!

Lila's Awards Day

Today was Lila's awards day at school. She received All A Honor Roll, Outstanding Reader Award, and the Smart in Art Award. She was so excited, and I was so proud. She's had a great year this year -- her teacher Mrs. Letourneau has been wonderful, and academically she's done super. I can hardly believe that she's going to be in the 2nd grade next year! Where has the time gone!!

Field Trip with Lila

I had the chance to go with Lila on her first grade field trip. I wasn't able to go to the zoo last year because Ivey had just been born, so I promised her that I'd try to go this year. We headed to a type of farm place in the middle of downtown Montgomery. It was more like a community garden. The kids learned about different vegetables, visited a greenhouse and planted some seeds, saw and fed some chickens, and learned about compost. It was a pretty neat little field trip, and I'm very glad that I was able to spend the day with my sweet girl.
