I adore these sweet pictures of my baby girl .. smocked outfit, precious bonnet, the most kissable cheeks ever, and those chubby little legs stuck straight out with wrinkles in her knees. Good Gravy, it doesn't get too much cuter than that.
Ivey turned one today! What a fast year it has been ... it's been such a whirlwind! We all had to adjust to having a little baby in the house again, and it's safe to say that the adjustment was made quickly and our hearts were stolen by this sweet baby. She has such a mild and happy temperament, and she loves oh so good.
Here are some things about our Ivey at 12 months:
1. She's down to only her nighttime bottle, and she's completely on whole milk. She loves that nighttime bottle, so it'll probably stick around a little bit longer. She.is.an.eater. This girl has an appetite. She's willing to try all kinds of foods, and seems to like most things. She eats table food for the most part (there may still be some baby food if mama's a little lazy ;-).

2. She's still a great napper and sleeps wonderfully at night -- a good 11-12 hours. She wants her pacifiers and lovies in there with her though.
3. She isn't walking yet, but she's finally starting to stand more and is more confident walking while holding a hand. She also started to finally pull herself into the standing position on her own.
4. She gives the absolute best hugs. She literally throws her arms around your neck and will squeeze you. It's one of the best feelings. She will also kiss you. She really loves to give love -- whether it's hugging or kissing or just putting her cheek against yours.
5. She also enjoys playing peek-a-boo. She usually just puts her hand against the side of her head, but this weekend she started to actually cover her eyes when playing.
6. She will also occasionally wave bye-bye and blow kisses.
7. She really enjoys being outside. I'm thinking we will be outside a lot this summer!!
8. She's very friendly and rarely meets a stranger -- that includes reaching out to one or even trying to hug on people she doesn't know or know well. She smiles all the time.
9. She loves her Sissy (and Sissy's kids) and is very happy at school. For this, I am thankful!
**This baby girl is such a huge blessing. We love her oh so much!! Happy 12 Months to my Iveygirl!**
