The first half of spring break was full of the stomach bug, lots of puniness, and cleaning out closets/rearranging rooms. I was pooped by Wednesday, and we did nothing all day. Thursday I decided that we needed to find something fun to do each day, but Lila also decided to show that she was two and wow-wee, I have never in my life seen such fits and tantrums. Anyway, when we were able to make it out of the house in a timely way, here's what we did :)
Went to the airport for a picnic with Daddy on St. Patrick's Day -- didn't eat much, but devoured the green-colored chocolate milkshake. Real nutritious right? There wasn't much activity, but she seemed to enjoy it and it was a beautiful day!

Friday started with me being THAT mom in Wal-Mart with the screaming kid ... she calmed down and was great the rest of the day. We grilled steaks for dinner, and Josh put some music on while he did the grilling (he's a music guy ;-). After dinner, Lila wanted to have a dance party out in the garage. We had the best time looking like fools prancing around our cluttered garage.

Saturday we took a day trip to Montgomery to the zoo. This was Lila's 2nd time, but she got it so much more. She walked the entire morning (rather slowly), but loved seeing all the animals and would get so excited by some of them. The monkeys and the giraffes were her favorite. We also rode the choo-choo which was different and she enjoyed that.
I can't believe this week has come and gone so quickly...I'm not too sure how rested I am, but I did accomplish just about everything that I wanted to. :) Biggest accomplishment?? Lila has successfully transitioned to her big-girl room and loves it!! I'm so proud and relieved!
