Here is a nice phone instagram picture of Clare Anne. It is impossible to catch a good photo of her lately. For one, she does.not.slow.down EVER! If she does stop to give me a cheese, she's too fast and my poor camera can't keep up. I tried desperately tonight to grab a good picture of her (besides the one on my phone), and this is the best I got...
This last one clearly shows what a mess she is. :) I totally think she thought she was being funny.
Some things about Clare at 13 months:
1. She still takes a bottle at naptime. She's a good eater -- I would say at the moment she's loving bananas and peanut butter.
2. She jabbers a lot and says some things that I think sound like words: mama, dadda, Lila, dog (and will do a little oo,oo for the sound of a dog), what's that, bye-bye and night night. She waves hi, but doesn't say it.
3. She plays very well independently, but loves to play with her sister too.
4. She's a little territorial and I can already see sharing as an issue. She's not above trying to shove Lila away from a toy if she wants to play with it.
5. No new teeth this month.
6. Still a mama's girl, but is starting to branch out a little bit more.
7. She CLIMBS ... everywhere. She is so hard to keep up with and to keep her out of stuff. She is into everything. The word "no" isn't in her level of comprehension yet, I suppose, because I say it a lot and she just grins. She's a persistent little lady.
She's getting too big, too fast ... both my girls are! Wish time would slow down just a little bit! :)
