Little Ivey at 6 weeks old. We are rocking and rolling through the first weeks of summer. She's a sweet little thing, and we love her more with each passing day.

Memorial Day Fun

We spent Memorial Day at the lake this year. Josh and the girls spent the night Saturday night, but I drove back and forth...thought it would be easier with Ivey-girl. The girls had a ton of fun -- they swam, jumped, played, tubed, and skied. They had such a good time playing with friends and cousins. Ivey did really great too -- she really loves being outside. It calms her so much. She slept a lot in her Moses basket, and made it really easy on her mama. I was able to grab some great pictures of us playing!

Graulation at Sissy's

According to Clare, her little buddies, Hayes and Wyatt, gradulated today. Sissy did an adorable little end of the year program for the boys, and all of the kids had songs to sing, and each one had a poem that they had memorized to say. They all did so great. Everyone cooperated and participated. I was so proud of Clare. It was sweet watching all of these friends! We are so thankful for Sissy and all of the special things that she does for her kiddos. I'm so glad that all three girls will have been part of Sissy's crew!

Ivey is One Month Old

I can not believe that this sweet baby girl is one month old today! She is my little love, and I can't imagine life without her. She went to the doctor today and weighed in at 8 pounds and 8 ounces. We left the hospital four weeks ago today, and she weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces. She's growing like a weed! She is semi scheduled -- usually eating every 3.5 to 4 hours. She's doing so well nursing, and I'm enjoying it so much. She's had two bottles with about 3.5 ounces of breast milk, and she does well with that too. She definitely lets you know when she's hungry or needs a diaper changing. She usually has a fussy time in the evening, but I'm noticing that those are getting better. She's doing great at night -- I can function with the schedule that we are on! She usually eats anywhere between 9:30 to 10:30 (depending on our schedule for that day), and then wakes up once in the night. I usually wake her around 6:15 to eat before I get the big girls up for school. She does great while we are out running errands or doing whatever. She took her first trip to Madison this weekend, and did great with the car ride. She's such a good baby, and our family is so blessed to have her. We love our Ivey girl so much!!

My Sweet Ivey

Here are a few sweet pictures of my Ivey girl. She's doing so great, and I can't believe that we are coming up on her little month birthday!

Goings on at Lila's School

Lila has had a few things going on at school over the last week or so. Her kindergarten Seussical program was last week, and she did really great standing on stage and singing all of those songs. I was super proud of her.
Her Kindergarten Recognition Program was Tuesday morning. She received a certificate for completion of Kindergarten, and I got kind of teary seeing her stand up there on that stage. I can't believe that she'll be in 1st grade next year. Time is going way faster than I'd like for it to!

The best Kindergarten teacher we could have asked for -- Mrs. Ryals
Today was Lila's first school trip to the zoo. They rode the bus to Montgomery. I wasn't able to go like I wanted, but I'm thankful for sweet friends who have snapped and sent me a few pictures of her. She looks like she's having a blast!
