Ice Cream Thursday

I believe that Lila and I started a little tradition yesterday.

It involves it being a Thursday afternoon ... soooo close to Friday ... yay!
A quick trip to the convenience stores where we pick out some ice cream.
Coming home and enjoying it thoroughly in the driveway while we wait on Daddy to get home.

I thought it was a good idea :) ... Lila seems to agree!

Lila has enjoyed being back at Sissy's. Her days have been great but the nights have been a little more difficult around here. I think it's a combo of her age and that she's so much more tired. Sissy is really great about sending little text pictures to keep us up on what's going on with the kids, and Mommy really appreciates them! It's nice to get a sweet picture of my Lilabug on a long Monday :). Thought I would share what she's sent so far this year...

Home Sweet Home

On Wednesday, my parents came for a day trip to pick Lila up and take her to Madison for a few days. These are a few of the text message pictures I got documenting Lila's time up there with Grammy, Papa, and Aunt Chashie. I was glad to know that Lila adjusted well and made herself at home! ;-)

Josh and I traveled up on Friday night for the weekend, and while we were there, we celebrated an early birthday for my mom. Casey made dinner reservations for us at this great restaurant in downtown Huntsville called Cotton Row. She also picked up a yummy cake from Publix ... a fun little birthday party for a birthday that's two weeks away!

Lila the Ham

My picture taking has been a little slow lately ... we've been busy. School starting back has made us all super tired. I pulled the camera yesterday to snap a few pictures of Lila the Ham. She's really started cheesin' and posin' for the camera...it's too cute!

She's also into shoes and phones. ;-)

1st Day of School

We headed back to school today.

I think I missed my girl a whole lot more than my girl missed me.

Reunion #107

Lila and I drove to Boaz this weekend to spend some time with family. On Sunday, we headed over to the 107th (I think) reunion of the Wright branch of my family tree. It was so good to spend time with family we don't get to see too much...we love you guys and were so glad to see you!!
