Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving from us, The Cooks!
So thankful for our many blessings!

Lila's Thanksgiving Program

Lila's preschool did a Thanksgiving program this past Tuesday. I was so excited that I was able to attend. She did so great -- she was front and center, and she sang and did the hand motions so well. She's my shy one, so I wondered if she'd get bashful up on that stage.
Very thankful for the little lady.
So excited that Mimi and Pop got to come and watch.

Lila's Thankful Homework

Lila worked on this all by herself -- came up with her list, helped me find the pictures, cut and glued them all down.
Her list included: her family, friends, teachers, church, school, and the park.
I know that I'm pretty thankful for this sweet little girl.

Alice in Wonderland

Emily and I took the big girls to see the high school's performance of Alice in Wonderland this afternoon. Before the show, they hosted a "Mad Hatter Tea Party." The girls were able to go across the stage to see Alice, then meet all the characters inside the tea party. They both did great and really seemed to enjoy themselves. I treasure afternoons like this! Such a fun time!

Fall Festival Fun

Our church had their fall festival last night. It was at a farm in town which was very nice indeed. We enjoyed good food, fellowship, a hayride, and the girls enjoyed a roll in the corn crib. Thankful for a fun night!

A Visit to Josh's Work

We drove to West Point this morning to visit the dam where Josh works. He's been there awhile, and we've never had an opportunity to go. We were there about an hour and half, and I'm sure we only saw 1/8 of what we could see, but we saw a lot of neat stuff. It's all pretty complicated to me, and I can't repeat much of what I was told, but I have a total appreciation for what Josh does everyday. He seems to love it, and for that I'm thankful!

Sissy's Group

Sissy has a pretty sweet group of kids! I love getting pictures from her, but I thought these were particularly precious. So hard to believe that this is Lila's last year! Time is zooming (this oughta be my catch phrase)!
