This morning we went to Auburn University's Vet School Open House. I have to say it's probably one of the neatest things we've done. They had dogs and different kinds of animals out and about. They got their face painted, and Lila performed "surgery" on a stuffed puppy dog. She was a little hesitant, but we encouraged her to try and she had fun. The large animal barn was full of horses, and the girls enjoyed knowing their names and looking at them. The goats though .. I think they took the cake as their favorite animal. They would've played with those little fellas for awhile I believe. We even watched an ultrasound of a sheep pregnant with twins!! We watched the heartbeat on the monitor.

Play Dates and Bowling Ball Games
What a wonderful, low-key Spring Break we've had! I've enjoyed knocking a few errands out, having lunch dates and play dates with the girls, and just not having much of an agenda. We had Lila's little friend, Leah, over to spend the night Wednesday night. The girls were great -- no planned activities...I just let them play, and they had a blast.
Leah's little sister, Hannah, who is one of Clare's best little buddies, came Thursday morning to have a little friend time as well. Love these sweet little friends, and I was glad to have some time for them to come play.
We met Leah and Hannah's day care group at the park for some playtime. Lila figured out how to get across the monkey bars, and boy, was she proud!! That girls is just getting too big, I tell ya!
Friday was incredibly rainy and dreary. Josh was home for the day, so we decided to load up and go bowling. It has been forever, but we had a great time. We played two games -- Clare was pretty much over it after the first one (hence the phone in the last picture). For the sake of Josh's pride, I won't say who won BOTH games. ;-)

Spring Break so far...
Boy, we have enjoyed our little spring break so far .. and it's only Monday! Looking forward to a wonderful rest of the week! :)
My sweet girls before church!
Lila got a much needed haircut this morning. She even got to sit in the big chair and get her hair washed. I think she felt pretty growny.
We packed a picnic and headed to the airport. The girls loved watching the planes take off -- Clare told me that she thought one of the planes was headed to Africa .. ha! She told Josh at dinner that watching them was "terrific!"
We wrapped up the evening with a walk around the block -- Lila is getting really good at riding her bike, and Clare talked and sang the whole time. Pretty perfect if you ask me! :-)
CATCH-UP!
I am about to blow this blog up with a much needed photo catch-up. I suppose I've been in a blog slump lately .. who knows, but this goes back into February. Ack!! Enjoy my photo catch-up. :-)
Happy Birthday to Casey :-)
